This web portal provides services for disaster risk management and recovery based on high-quality research. For two decades, we have researched natural hazards that can lead to disasters particularly those that have climatic origins. We studied the vulnerability of people, livelihoods, economic activity and networks. In many of these “disaster”, the natural hazards involve human-driven vulnerability.
